The US-Israel war on Iran has entered its 16th day with no signs of ending. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated the country has not sought a ceasefire and is prepared to defend itself "as long as it takes." Overnight, Israel struck cities including Tehran, Hamadan, and Isfahan. At least 1,444 civilians have been killed and over 18,551 injured since the conflict began on February 28. Iran has fired approximately 700 missiles and 3,600 drones at US and Israeli targets. The Strait of Hormuz — through which 20% of the world's oil flows — remains effectively shut to tankers, pushing Brent crude above $105 a barrel, its highest since July 2022. Drone attacks have also been reported near Dubai International Airport and Fujairah's industrial area.
